Golden Roots Preschool
A warm, family-led preschool needed a first impression as nurturing as its setting, and a clear path for parents to express interest.

The brief
Golden Roots is a privately run early years setting on the Grangehurst Primary School site in Longford, Coventry — family-led by Dina and Mo, who wanted a website with the warmth and personal feel of a small, independent preschool. Choosing childcare is one of the most trust-driven decisions a parent makes, so the site had to do two things at once: convey genuine warmth and reassurance, and provide local parents with a clear, low-pressure way to register their interest while funded places are limited.
The approach
Everything leads with warmth. A soft, natural palette and gentle illustration carry the brand promise "Strong roots for bright futures" before a parent reads a word. Rather than hide the people behind the setting, the site puts them front and centre: a "Meet the Owners" section introduces Dina and Mo personally, which is exactly what builds trust for a family-led preschool competing against larger nurseries. The structure naturally guides a parent from welcome to ethos (learning through play, strong relationships, and confident beginnings) to the team, fees and funding, and policies — with "Register Interest" always one clear tap away. It was built mobile-first because that's where most parents will encounter it first.
The outcome
Golden Roots now has a site that feels as personal and reassuring as the setting itself, with a clear path from first impression to contact. The family's story and ethos come through immediately, and parents have an easy way to register interest and stay informed as funded places open up.
